Community Supported Agriculture Programs: While we're probably a year away from launching our CSA program we'd like to take this opportunity to tell you about what we plan to do. A Community Supported Agriculture Program, or CSA, is a relationship of mutual support and commitment between farmers and members. It implies a willingness to share both the bounty from the land and at least some of the risks involved with production.

Here's how it works. In return for an annual membership fee to cover some of the production costs of the farm CSA members receive a weekly share of the highest quality naturally grown harvest during the local growing season. When members obtain food from local farmers they are directly supporting small family farms in their community as well as receiving the freshest available produce.

If you are interested in becoming a CSA program member please call us or send us an email.  We'll be glad to hear from you and appreciate the opportunity to answer any questions you may have. Membership in a CSA program can be fun for you and your family ... and good for you too!

Don't forget to join us at the Fairburn Farmers Market.  The market is open from 8:00 AM until 1:00PM every Saturday from May through October.   www.fairburnfarmersmarket.com
